NH Trading Marketplace for Surplus Produce

Do you have a garden... small, medium or large? Are you raising livestock... chickens, goats, rabbits? Wouldn't it be great if you could trade your surplus(rather than just give it away) for produce you weren't able to grow?

ShireProduce.com is a place where food producers can gently collide to trade, and balance their alimentary palates.

Wouldn't it be great to meet together somewhere local, at your own convenience to trade those tomatoes (more than you'll ever eat) for some fresh eggs (aren't you glad someone has put up with those chicks?!). Are you a brave one with nanny-goats and have more milk than you know what to do with, but have no fresh spinach or carrots? (those darlings beasts would eat them up before your eyes anyways!)

Become a member. Tell us what you are raising/growing. Results will show the more popular items being grown, and what voids are left that you might like to fill. Peruse over all of the great links/resources, recipes to make your gardening experience more successful. Submit your gardening photos, so everyone can see your hard work!

Most of us meet at various times during the week for this event or that. There are always meetings or gatherings, protests and parties going on here and there, throughout the state. Let's make these situations multipurpose for produce surplus trades. Small gatherings or large, minor events (movie nights/literature handouts) or large (protests/Porcfest), piggy-backing tends to draw more when there are multiple benefits, and sustenance reigns supreme! A calendar of events is included within the site (feel free to post yours) which makes it easy to see when and where an opportunity can arise for foodstuffs trading.
